We cannot say enough good things about Brandon Johnson as our realtor! Brandon helped us during April 2021 as first-time home buyers, close on a house in the Twin Cities in this extremely competitive market. He provided an easy online search portal, expert advise, great communication, and competitive strategies among other buyers.We loved Brandon's new online search portal for our house hunting. He set us up with exclusive access to his company's new and updated portal, that was set to our specific search criteria. We were sent daily emails about updated searches both on AND upcoming houses to the market directly from the MLS. Often we found that this was a much more thorough search engine than Zillow or Realtor. We would then contact Brandon as soon as we saw properties we liked - and EVERY time he was able to be flexible and get us a showing. He was very adamant about seeing the properties within the first 24hrs they were available in order to be competitive in our offers. There was one time that he wasn't available on the day we wanted a showing, and he was able to set us up with another realtor for that timeslot in order to see the property as soon as it was listed. He told us that some weekends he was doing showings until 10pm.....my goodness that is the type of dedication and effort we were proud to have in our realtor.As we stated, we were first-time home buyers. During each house showing, Brandon provided thorough and expert advice on each property. We loved that he gave his very honest opinion of each house, by noticing small details (like window quality, water/moisture issues, appliance dates, etc) that he would point out to us. He respected us as young and first-time buyers and did not stop short of details on the properties because of this. Brandon would also give his honest opinion of some properties that were not worth placing an offer due to quality concerns, which also he would point these out to us. He would always assure us that he wouldn't help place on offer unless we were completely comfortable, and that it didn't matter how long the process took in order to find us the right house.Brandon had GREAT communication. We would contact him through phone calls, texts, and also email. This was great to have this variety of methods, and would always hear back from him right away. He kept us updated on showing changes, and also immediately after any offers we lost. Even after we closed and he was done working with us, Brandon called to check-in to see how the new house was going. I think this alone is a prime example of his fabulous customer service and dedication to his clients!Brandon provided extremely competitive strategies for us during this tough market! If you are currently looking in the Twin Cities area in 2021....then you know how difficult this current market is! It is not uncommon for houses to have 40-60+ offers on a single property within 24-48hrs of it being listed....its insane! We ended up beating out 40 other offers on the house we got! We had multiple friends who were also in on the house-searching process.....both friend groups had told us that they were not impressed with their realtors and did not feel as if they were helping them with good strategies during their bid-wars on properties. We were so thankful to have Brandon as our realtor, especially after hearing this! Things that he did different than our friend's realtors - - he would contact the selling agent in person or via phone to attempt to get more details of the property and/or seller's wishes (my friend's realtor said hers would NOT do this). He also was eager for us to include a personal letter in our offers (again, something the other friend's realtor was resistant to do for them!). He also provided us with a competitive strategy in terms of different types of offers we could make that we were still comfortable with, and gave us education and details of why each one would give us an advantage over the other. He had another GREAT strategy in terms of an inspection.....which we truly believe is a HUGE reason as to why we won the property that we did (and all while feeling comfortable placing the offers that we did!)......give him a call and he can tell you more about this inspection strategy idea with him as your realtor! (His inspection strategy was ANOTHER thing that both of our friend's realtors did not offer, nor even mentioned to them!). After they heard Brandon's ideas for our offer, they stated they had wished they had chosen him for this specific strategy in the crazy housing market. We never felt pressured by Brandon during our offers, and only felt supported!Overall....we were EXTEREMELY happy and impressed with Brandon as our realtor! He is so knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. We plan to be in our new house for only 4-6 years, and without a doubt we will be using Brandon again as our realtor in the future! Within 48 hours and one open house we had multiple offers and a final sale price of over $25k more than we’d hoped to get for our home.
